FULLTONE - Secret Freq- Distortion Pedal

Fulltone Secret Freq (Secret Frequency) is one of the better transparent distortion pedals. It has a nice natural and dynamic distortion sound and in addition has a unique Frequency knob. This button is actually a mid-boost where this area can be amplified up to 20 dB. Furthermore, the bass on this pedal is left alone. There is also a Highs button that allows you to adjust the presence/brightness of the sound. The distortion is based on so-called asymmetrical clipping which gives the pedal a very musical and juicy distortion. It responds well to the dynamics of your playing. Turn your guitar volume down and you get a clean sound, turn it up and you are back in distortion-land. In addition, you can also use this pedal as a clean boost and it certainly does not look out of place as an overdrive pedal. In short, an enormously versatile and affordable effect pedal that is not out of place on any pedalboard.
