De bediening van deze SK PRO73 is snel en duidelijk, ideaal als podiuminstrument, want daar heb je geen tijd om in menu's te duiken. Drawbars krijg je uiteraard, negen stuks, om de orgelklank vorm te geven. En verder is het bedieningspaneel bezaaid met encoders, sliders en buttons. Naast de ingebouwde virtuele Leslie en buizensimulatie is er ook een aansluiting (11-pins) voor een echte Leslie. Je kunt op de SK PRO een mooie pedalenset van Hammond op aansluiten, een zwelpedaal en meer.
De Hammond heeft dus drie sound engines: de Organ Sectie (met het Modelled Tone Wheel I), de Piano/Ensemble Sectie en Mono Synth Sectie (die een klassieke, analoge synthesizer nabootst).
Naast de drawbar-geluiden bezit de SK PRO ook Italiaanse, Britse en Japanse transistor combo-orgels.
