JHS The Unicorn V2 is the sound of Pink Floyd's - Breathe and Jimi Hendrix's - Star Spangled Banner. It is the sound of an electric guitar with a vibe effect controlled by a photocell. This pedal is the JHS version of the famous uni-vibe effect. It is a modulation/phasing/rotary effect that stretches musical boundaries. This pedal is 100% analog and has a tap tempo with which the speed can be set. In addition, an external source (including expression pedal) can also set the speed.
The pedal has four knobs and a switch that can be used to accurately set the effect. Volume and Speed speak for themselves. With the ratio knob you set whether you want quarter notes, eighth notes or triplets. With the depth knob you determine the intensity of the effect. The switch lets you choose between a Uni-vibe or a traditional vibrato. This second version of the pedal is content unchanged from the first version, except that it has been halved in size and is now also a lot cheaper.
