Luca Mantovanelli was born in 1983 in Caserta, Italy, into a musical family. At a young age he showed his great interest and talent in music by starting to play drums, bass and wind instruments. A short time later he devoted himself only to playing the guitar, first self-taught and then under the direction of Adriano Guarino and Marco Sfogli (James Labrie).

He later studied classical guitar with Maestro Antonio De Innocentis.

Luca took his influences from a wide variety of styles and his greatest inspirations include Pat Martino, Robben Ford, Frank Gambale, Eddie Van Halen, Michael Brecker, Oscar Peterson and Gary Burton. This diversity of influences led him to play in a variety of bands in genres such as jazz, pop, blues and rock. When he joined the 900 Big Band, he opened all jazz festivals and collaborated with artists such as Jenny B, Katia Ricciarelli, Bobby Solo, Massimo Moriconi, Silvia Pagni and also went on a world tour with Eros Ramazzotti.

In 2014 he was one of the 8 finalists in Guitar Idol 4 and now teaches high quality masterclasses, lick and solo lessons on JamTrackCentral.com.

And now he is bringing his knowledge to Muziekhandel Jacky Claes
